myGov sign in Using your myGov login details
Enter your username, password, and a code or the answer to a secret question to log in to myGov.
Any of the following could be your username:
your 8-digit username emailed to you when you created your account your cellphone number, if you’ve chosen this option your email address used to create your myGov account
Then choose one of the following:
A code given to your mobile phone through SMS is the answer to your secret question as a code generated by the myGov Code Generator app
You can change your myGov account’s sign-in method at any time. Sign in to your myGov account and go to Account settings, then Sign-in choices to do so.
You can restore your username and password if you forget them. Select Forgot Username or Forgot password on the myGov website.

Codes sent by SMS to your mobile phone
If you choose this option, a code will be delivered to your phone by SMS. It’ll be sent to the phone number associated with your myGov account. The code is only valid for 10 minutes and can only be used once.
Each time you sign in, you’ll receive a new code.
You must first update your mobile number in your myGov account before changing it. You will not receive the SMS code if you do not do so. To create a new account, you’ll need to phone the myGov service desk.
